Recently, a dual lock Chubb safe was opened by me in Kensington. Chubb has been a pioneer in developing high-security safes that are resistant to attacks from skilled burglars and sophisticated tools. Chubb is a well-known brand in the safe industry and has a long history dating back to when Chubb was founded by brothers Jeremiah and Charles. In 1818, Jeremiah entered a government competition which sought a lock that could only be opened by its own key. Electronic safe locks, however, aren’t as long lived!
Modern Chubb safes are designed with a variety of high-security features such as drill- and cutting torch-resistant plates, re-locking devices, and complex locks that make them some of the most secure safes available. Opening a Chubb safe requires a high level of skill, expertise, and knowledge of the specific make and model of the safe and locks.
This unit was repaired and put straight back into service after replacing the failed lock.
